Dear Colleague,

It gives me a great pleasure to announce that the 3rd  International Symposium on Social Studies Education has been organized by Association for Social Studies Educators and  Gazi Faculty of Education at Gazi University and will be held on April 28-30, 2014 in Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey.

Although the main theme of the symposium is ‘Educational Chess: Education System of Turkey, 4+4+4 and Social Studies’ you can present your research results in any emphasis area of social studies education. Sub-themes of the symposium are as follows:
